Rita's Excellent Adventure
Once upon a time there was a young sand crab named RIta who simply loved purple plankton. One day she hitched a ride on a current in search of the best plankton in the Santa Monica Bay. Rita's Excellent Adventure tells the story of this adventure in both words and weft. Rita's story was written in verse by Nicki Bair and illustrated in tapestry by six tapestry artists from the Seaside Weavers Tapestry Group.
