I began weaving in 2002 after the passing of my mother who was a fiber artist in the Wine Country of California. I inherited my mother’s looms, supplies, inspiration and drive.

I am inspired by the geometric shapes in nature and enjoy creating series of pieces such as my Celestial Moons & Planets and the more earth bound series Beetles from Thailand. With a smile and a chuckle I look forward each year to adding one tapestry to my Butt Series, a favorite of audiences everywhere.

My latest passion is weaving with words and weft. Quite often a beetle comes along for the ride. I have found writing and weaving are slow mediums; but when done together - the magic of synergy stops time.

My looms are never empty and my dogs always close by.
